Alice Nelson

Alice Nelson is a wife and mother of 3 girls, which sometimes makes it hard to write amongst the chaos and insanity, but somehow she manages. Alice is a contributing writer for the top literary journal, Short Fiction Break, and co- moderator of The Writer’s Hangout, a flash fiction weekly writing contest.

Alice was also the 2017 spotlight author at the Deathrattle Writer’s festival in Idaho. Her story, “The Watcher,” was selected as the featured flash fiction story of the festival.

Alice loves to write suspense and horror stories, and although new to podcasting, she believes her stories are a perfect fit for the medium. Alice has an e-book of her short and flash fiction stories called, “Hell is for Puppies,” available on

Alice hopes that putting her stories in audio form will introduce them to a larger audience of literary lovers that will eventually lead to bigger and better things.
